100kg Bench Press challenge
UPCOMING
Brendan’s second charity challenge is a true test of strength and determination: a 100kg bench press for maximum repetitions in a single set. Often seen as a benchmark of upper-body strength, the bench press represents more than just physical power for Brendan — it symbolises resilience, discipline, and the refusal to make excuses. After facing significant medical challenges and spending years away from the gym, Brendan committed to rebuilding himself step by step. Over the past year of training, he progressed from that starting point to completing his first major challenge — a 150kg squat for maximum reps — and now he’s ready to push even further. This challenge isn’t just about lifting weight; it’s about proving what’s possible when you show up, stay consistent, and fight for something bigger than yourself. If you’re able to support Brendan’s journey, please consider donating and helping him raise vital funds for this incredible cause.

challenge 2:

150KG squat challenge
COMPLETED
On the 12th of April, Brendan Lees took on his first major challenge—squatting an incredible 150kg and pushing through an astonishing 20 reps. This achievement places him in elite territory, especially at over 60 years old, where even a single rep at that weight is considered exceptional. Friends and family gathered to cheer him on, and the support in the room was electric. We’re all incredibly proud of Brendan—not just for his physical strength, but for his determination, spirit, and the inspiration he brings to everyone around him.
